The Women’s Health Ministry is excited to kickoff the 2012 Women’s Season Speaker Series. Our first seminar “Balancing Life Demands – Getting to Your Happy” will be held on Saturday, February 18 at 12pm in the Cathedral Cafe. Learn strategies to nourish your mind, body and soul. Start the New Year with a new perspective with resources for stress-management with well known expert in Mental Health and Wellness - Dr. Janet Taylor.  Dr. Taylor is a clinical instructor of psychiatry at Columbia University - Harlem Hospital. She is a Family Circle columnist and is a Today Show contributor, speaking on family dynamics, healthy aging, stress management, health disparities and multi-cultural communication.  Dr. Taylor has been featured on The Early Show, Fox Morning Show and Nancy Grace on CNN. Dr. Taylor is a contributor to BeWell.com - the first social network that connects members with evidence-based content and dialogue from leading experts. Dr. Taylor is affiliated with several organizations such as; Board Chair of the National Black Women's Health Imperative and a volunteer facilitator for theTreeHouse Program. Dr. Taylor is a recipient of the Woman in Medicine Award from the National Medical Association. This workshop will discuss Tips on Mental Wellness and guidance for overall health.
